Hold on now! WHICH Mario Party are you talking about?
4 5 7 and whatever the new one was with all the old games coming back
Seeing people struggle on the SMB3 roulette is pretty cringe, I'll give you that. Hell, I'll even give you the whole general statement of Nintendo fans being drooling morons.
But you DO know that the Mario Party dice is out of your control in nearly every entry in the series, right? I believe depending on the game, the outcome is either entirely predetermined, OR based on when you hit the dice, but the dice switches to a random number every time it changes, so you'd need basically frame perfect reaction times for it to be useful. I think in 9 it also gives 1st place worse rolls as well. I can't speak for anything above 9 though, so it's possible that the dice is easily in the players control now.
I legitimately know how to get tens. I'd have you ask a certain user but I know they don't log in anymore.
The only ones I can regularly get tens is 4 5 and 7. However I watched the newest MP get played recently and I smear to god it has all the same cues.
For the first games it was predetermined, mostly calculated off of whats on the board at any given time. When they tried to do it differently, they made it so you have to count 3 or 4 axis of rotation, depending on the die used, and you listen to audio cues. The die has to sync up with the audio at the right spot, and its not quite frame perfect, theres a ramp up and a fall off, but yeah you can manipulate it if you know how.
If I remember correctly 8 and 9 bothe do the worse roll thing, and if you try to do the same trick you always get a 2 or a 1.
As well, in 7, visually, yes theres a scramble to the numbers, behind the scene theres a rotational list that it runs through and I think every few rotations it does RNG, but to tell you that I'd have to stare at a recording for a good long ass while.
I'm just some kid who did speed runs in 1st grade. I may be wrong, but I've also gotten first place in mario party off of speedrun tricks alone, so, idk. I'm just annoyed I seem to be the only person to be able to do it.
Who are you

@PH4NT0M117 Thank you! While I’m mostly in the dark with how the recent Mario Party dice blocks work, 1 and 2 on the other hand, I know for certain their dice are “loaded” at the start of every turn.
Its less that they're preloaded, but they have an actual list of numbers they reference for each player. The updated dice system on 4 also has lists, but it has a break at the end of the lit do do a few random entries then it cycles to the next. Theres more to it, thats just what I can figure out on my own

I'm just glad I don't have to pay close attention to sounds and fast moving things to be able to flush my toilet.
